Possible Solution:

Go check if there’s any song that is not qualified to be uploaded to iCloud Music Library, if all songs are fine, then try these steps: create a new playlist > copy all songs from that bad playlist over the new playlist > delete the old playlist > rename the new playlist to the old name.

Of course. There’s no requirement to use iCloud Music Library, and you can even still use Apple Music at the same time. On an iOS device you can disable it under Settings > Music > iCloud Music Library or in iTunes head to Preferences > General > iCloud Music Library. You can even disable iCloud Music Library on certain devices while using it on others .

Just keep in mind a few restrictions that apply to Apple Music when you disable iCloud Music Library:

  • You will no longer be able to save offline music to the device.
  • Music and playlists you add to your iCloud Music Library elsewhere won’t be automatically synced between devices that have the feature disabled.
  • You’ll either have to add music manually to the device by syncing or importing, or access the Apple Music catalogue by streaming music over the Internet instead.

Of course, if you want to ditch Apple Music and iTunes’s preferred method of managing media entirely, you’ve got options there too.

Turn ‘icloud Music Library’ On

    Turn Off Optimise Storage

    To help you save storage space on your iPhone, Apple designed the Optimised Storage feature. That automatically deletes the downloaded songs that you barely listen to whenever your device is low on storage space. While this will truly free up storage on your iPhone, some of your songs on Apple Music might no longer available for offline play.

    If Optimised Storage is enabled on your iPhone, you should turn it off to prevent songs from being deleted on Apple Music without your knowledge. Heres how.

    Step 1: Launch your phones Settings menu and select Music.

    Step 2: Scroll to the Downloads section at the bottom of the page and tap Optimised Storage.

    Step 3: If enabled, tap the button next to the Optimised Storage option to toggle it off.

    Methods #3 and #4 will not restore missing songs to your Apple Music. They are merely measures to prevent your downloaded music from disappearing on Apple Music. That said, if you are unable to restore your downloaded music, you’d have to manually re-download them to your device.

    To download your songs back to your device, launch Apple Music, click on the Songs folder, and tap the cloud icon to download each song back to your device.
