What Will High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 2 Be About
At the end of season one, the school’s opening night of High School Musical: The Musical was underway. E.J. ended up stepping in for Ricky in the part of Troy, but stepped aside for Ricky to finish the final song alongside Nini. Afterward, Ricky finally confesses to Nini that he loves her and the two get back together. However, Nini then finds out that she got into a prestigious performing arts school, which, while exciting, would mean she would have to leave East High. The episode ended before Nini or the viewers could fully process the decision she has to make.
So far, the most fans know about the plot of season two is that the school’s next production will be Beauty and the Beast. Creator and showrunner Tim Federle spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming season. About the choice of musical, he said, “Beauty and the Beast is not only one of my favorite scores the music is so emotional but it allows us to see these kids cast in roles that might surprise you. And also just scenically and costume design-wise and musically, it’s so different from High School Musical that it’s just a nice way to expand.”

What Will The Musical In Hsmtmts Season 3 Be
There is no official word yet on what the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3 musical will be. However, HSMTMTS showrunner Tim Federle told Hollywood Life: “Choosing the musical for the show is hard because there are so many possibilities. You can go way, way off, you can go High School Musical 3, you can create a new musical.”
After High School Musical: The Musical in season 1 and Beauty and the Beast in season 2, anything is possible. Listen out for easter eggs though. Nini mentioned Beauty and the Beast early in season 1, so a character could let slip the season 3 musical at some point during season 2.
Our bet is that it could be an original musical with songs written by Nini, Ashlyn and the rest of the characters.

Well Then Whos Expected To Come Back
Honestly, thats TBD. We all hope for a reappearance by our fave East High students , and the adults supervising them arent half bad either.
There is one thing we know for certain though: Dont expect any drama to get in the way of the HSM:TM:TS cast making the TV show. In fact, creator/executive producer Tim Federle actually confirmed this in an interview with , saying how after all the drama with Drivers License, it didnt affect Olivia and Josh being professionals on-set.
I did not feel the material impact anything other than everybody, including Josh, being exceptionally excited for Olivia with this crazy rocket ride, he told the publication. Well, thank goodness for thatwe need more Nini and Ricky in our lives, STAT.
High School Musical: The Series Will There Be Season 3
As season 2 is still ongoing and there are few episodes left to decide the final decision. It is up to the creators, if they decided to wrap things up in season 2, then there will be no more season 3. But if the season ends on a cliffhanger then there are pretty much chances that the series will be renewed for a third season.;
I think that there are still many things that are left to show in the show. From Ninis music life to the students career. As an audience, I would really love to see each and every kid getting a; perfect finishing story to satisfy our inner soul. Also, as many kids and teens are watching the show, it wouldnt be the best decision to have a depressing ending.;
The popular Netflix series, Lucifer is finally released this year after a life-long wait. Season 5 is already released and now the audience wants season 6. Find out what it looks like.

Will Any Of The Og High School Musical Stars Appear In It
As fans know, a few of the OG stars including Lucas Grabeel and KayCee Stroh appeared in Season 1, and boy, was it epic. So will any of the original cast members visit East High during Season 2? Well, Federle told DigitalSpythat potentially we could see some familiar faces.
Theres a big fanbase of people who loved the originals and came to check our show and saw that we paid great homage to the original, he explained. But Ive also been somewhat surprised and heartened to discover that theres a fanbase that truly comes to the show for Ricky and Gina and Nini, for these new characters and new songs. I have also wanted to take the pressure off myself, for it to be such a High School Musical-palooza, and trust that these new cast members especially are compelling and appealing enough to really bet on them, more than bells and whistles.
He also told them in a previous interview, I think that Im always looking to expand the kind of guest star cast, just because I think its so fun to see people pop up on the show If you happen to be out and see Zac Efron, please mention it to him. Id love for him to give me a call.
