There’s a new show on its way to Netflix and it’s got High School Musical creator, Kenny Ortega at the helm – so we’re expecting huuuge things.
The show, titled will drop on the streaming platform in September and it’ll be made up of nine, 30-minute episodes – so very bingeable I think we can all agree…

So what’s it all about then? Well, it focuses on high school student Julie who lost her passion for music when her mum sadly passed away last year.
But when the ghosts of three musicians from 1995 suddenly appear in her mum’s old music studio, Julie begins to feel inspired to start singing and writing her own music once again.
Making friends with the ghosts, they convince Julie to create a band – aptly named Julie and the Phantoms. The series is all about the highs and lows of life, growing up, following your passions and believing in yourself.

The show will drop on the streaming platform on 10th September and it’ll be made up of nine, 30-minute episodes which we intend on bingeing in one go.
It focuses on high school student Julie who lost her passion for music when her mum sadly passed away last year.

Debuting as a Disney Channel exclusive back in 2006, High School Musical surpassed all expectations for a direct-to-TV movie and became an international phenomenon that launched the careers of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Mixing teenage drama with a diverse selection of catchy songs and expert choreography from Kenny Ortega, High School Musical scored a second successful TV movie, launching the 2008 third installment towards a theatrical release for the first time.
