The Refreshing Is Annoying
I really like this app but I have tried an tried to find out why every time I get a phone call or I go out of my app when I push pause on my music an go back within minutes it goes an refreshes the whole app. Im literally in the middle of a song so what is the purpose of refreshing the app I tried to just start putting the music on an old phone I have thats just for WiFi but even that if Im closer to it an pause it, you cant leave the app longer then a minute it seems without it just thinking your not coming back or something. An the other issue is it constantly takes random music that i do listen to often out of my music list. Ill add a song to my music an sometimes a playlist too, an Ill be listening to the song randomly later on a station that I choose an Ill go an decide to add it to a playlist an see that its not even in my music. So Ill add it again. Ive only notice it since like I said Ill decide to add it to a playlist an see it has the plus next to add music. But why is it constantly coming out of my music. I have checked an seen that most songs still be in a playlist but not added to my music.. again not understanding these little things. But Please please fix. The little things add up to annoyance when its continuously acting up..
What Are Alexa Voice Controls
Alexa voice controls are the ways you can ask Alexa to play music. If youve listened to music on an Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, Echo Look, or Amazon Tap, youre already familiar with Alexa voice controls like, “Alexa, play Adele,” or, “Alexa, play jazz music.”
Amazon Music has recently introduced many new and innovative Alexa voice controls to make asking for music more natural and fun than ever. Here are a few examples:
- Want to hear the latest song or album by your favorite artist but dont know the title? Try, “Alexa, play the new song by Bruno Mars,” or, “Alexa, play the latest album by Norah Jones.”
- Have words to a song stuck in your head but cant remember the name of the song? Just say a few words and Alexa will play it for you. Try, “Alexa, play the song that goes ‘Ill Be Your Lifeline Tonight.'”
- Want to re-live the music from your college days? Try, “Alexa, play the most popular rock from the 90s.”
- Feeling down and need a pick-me-up? Try, “Alexa play happy R& B music.”
- Want to listen to early catalog from a favorite artist? Try, “Alexa, play Van Halen from the 70s.”
- Having friends over? Try, “Alexa, play music for a dinner party.”
- Want to be surprised? Try, “Alexa, play the Song of the Day.”

Amazon Music Vs Amazon Prime
Prime Music and Music Unlimited share several features, meaning it can be quite confusing to understand what each really offers.
Whether you have the free version or pay for the premium upgrade, Amazon let users listen without adverts.
Many “freemium” streaming services do not allow users to listen on demand unless they pay.
Users consequently have to listen in shuffle mode and can only skip a number of songs a day.
But both Amazon services let users skip an unlimited number of songs and listen for as many hours as they want.
How Much Does It Cost
Prime Music is an additional benefit for Amazon Prime members. That means the annual £79 fee paid by members now includes unlimited music streaming as well.
A Prime membership offers unlimited one-day delivery for millions of items, access to all of the streamed movies and TV shows available on Amazon Prime Video, unlimited cloud photo storage through Prime Photos, access to one eBook at a time through the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library and now Prime Music too, all for the one annual fee.
Regardless of Prime delivery, Prime Photos or the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, the yearly cost for Prime that includes Music and Amazon Prime Video represents amazing value for money.
While can invite other members of their family to share their Prime benefits as part of an Amazon Household, that doesn’t include Prime Music.

How Much Does Amazon Prime Cost In Canada
Amazon Prime keeps things pretty simple with its Canadian prices. If you want a full year of the service, it will cost you CA$79, or you can go for a monthly rate of CA$7.99. The prices havent increased the same way that they have in the United States. The annual rate works out to just CA$6.58 per month for those number crunchers among you.
If youre a student, the deal gets even better. You can get a free six-month trial of Prime courtesy of Stack TV, complete with all of the bells and whistles. Youll only have to pay half of the annual rate to stick with Prime once the six-month trial ends. Alternatively, Quebec residents can grab a two-month membership for just CA$7.99. What You Get With Amazon Music Prime
Amazon Music Prime, a service that’s included with an $119-per-year Amazon Prime subscription, gives you just a taste of what Amazon Music Unlimited offers. That said, it’s similar in many aspects. The Home section displays a list of podcasts, playlists, and streaming audio stations curated by Amazon. If you’ve listened to Amazon Music before, this section will contain a compact list of trending songs or podcasts, and algorithmic suggestions. Next to Home is the Library section, a place that highlights your recent listens, created playlists, and previously uploaded songs. Amazon no longer lets you upload your own MP3s to its servers, but if you’ve done so before, that music is still available to stream.
As with many other streaming music services, Amazon Music Prime has a search bar that lets you look up music and podcasts by artist/creator name, song/show title, or genre. Unfortunately, searching for Led Zeppelin tracks quickly reveals one of Amazon Music Prime’s bigger flaws: holes in the catalog. The service has lots of Zeppelin tribute band content, but no music performed by the actual British rockers. You’ll need a premium service, such as Amazon Music Unlimited or Spotify, for Zeppelin albums.

Amazon Music Unlimited Pricing
Amazon has decided against matching Spotifys free tier. Like Apple Music and Tidal, the only scope for free usage of Music Unlimited is within its free trials which can run from 30 days to three months during some promotions.
£9.99/$9.99/AU$9.99 per month seems to be the going rate for individual memberships and Amazon follows suit. Its £15/$15/AU$18-per-month family tier is par for the course too.
Individual membership is reduced to £8/$8/AU$8 per month for Prime members, which is a mild incentive for the millions of Prime subscribers .
You can also sign up to a £4/$4/AU$5 per month tier that lets you use the service on a single or Echo Dot wireless speaker.
But the competitive pricing doesnt stop there. Previously, if you wanted to access Amazon Music HD, the companys CD-quality and high-res audio tier, youd need to pay an additional £5 per month. But in May 2021, Amazon scrapped the charge, which makes it even more appealing, and an even closer rival for Apple Music, which has upped its own game by introducing higher-quality streams to its customers at no additional cost.
