Best Way To Transfer Spotify Playlist To Itunes Library
My Spotify subscription has run out and Apple Music looks more appealing to me now. I was wondering if there is any way to transfer playlists from Spotify to the iTunes library? They’re really big and I don’t want to lose them.”
When it comes to subscribers, the undisputed king of on-demand streaming music is Spotify, with over 155 million paid users. But the thing has changed since Apple Inc. came to get a share of this pie. Just almost 3 and a half years old, it is reported that Apple Music now has roughly 75+ million paid users. Apple Music has ways to go to catch up to Spotify which also gives users access to the entire iTunes library, a swath of curated playlists, and offers a three-month free trial and a 24/7 global streaming music channel led by former BBC DJ Zane Lowe. Even the required subscription fee of $10 per month is no great barrier for entry, as Apple Music discounted family plan. Some users were expecting to jump ship from Spotify to Apple Music but also wish to get beloved Spotify songs and playlists over to Apple Music.

The service well be using in this guide is called Tune My Music, and it actually works with other services beyond Spotify and Apple Music. Before we get started, youll need to have accounts on both Spotify and Apple Music.

Now, select the source music service . In this case, were using Spotify.
A new window will open and ask you to sign in to Spotify . Click Agree to give Tune My Music access to your account.
Excellent App Would Just Like It To Be More Autonomous
Very good app and the update is refreshing. I do wish it was a bit more autonomous, for example – not needing to review matches on every shift, I have around 10 playlist Im shifting and having to review every playlist is repetitive. I wish there was an option to automate the reviewing stage to ignore fails and processes the matches, there could be an audit of previous fails for future review- Apple Music sometimes disconnects but the only warning is unmatched songs rather than a warning saying the service has been disconnected. I assume this is an issue with Apple Music rather than the app but a warning would be helpful.I still believe this is the best app to shift your music library and playlist and would recommend.

Just Got Apple Music Heres How To Keep Your Spotify Playlists
Already been enticed by a shiny Apple One subscription? Or has the delayed addition of Fitness+ finally forced a reassessment? Either way, Spotify users tempted to make the switch need to know how to rescue lovingly curated playlists and place them in a new Apple Music home. Thankfully, its pretty simple to do.
The solution, which Ive used myself to swerve the ever-increasing prices of streaming services by taking advantage of regular offers, comes from an iOS app called SongShift. This does exactly what you might expect. You simply need to give it access to your music subscriptions to easily shift your songs.
With a third-party app like this reliability may be of immediate concern. Your mileage may vary, as both Spotify and Apple Music feature an extraordinary amount of songs . However, in my experience, SongShift is extremely accurate, having only ever mismatched a single song.
While transferring from Spotify to Apple Music is the focus here, SongShift also supports YouTube Music, Tidal, Pandora, LastFM and more. The migration of songs can be made back and forth, too. So, if you end up wanting to switch back to Spotify from Apple Music, you can do that as well.

A Quick Note On Soundiiz Premium Vs Soundiiz Free
There is a free version of Soundiiz, which allows you to transfer over playlists one-by-one if you so choose to. You can also use it to take stock of what music you have on what platform, if you’re the type of person who may have multiple subscriptions to different services. And, on the free tier, Soundiiz will only make a new playlist with 200 tracks in total per list larger playlists will get truncated to the first 200 songs.
The premium version, however, costs $36 annually or $4.50 a month if you choose monthly billing. Soundiiz Premium gives quite a few benefits over the free version. By using the premium version, you can transfer multiple playlists, artists, and tracks to different platforms all at the same time. Premium users get the ability to export playlists as CSV, TXT, JSON, and URLs. Playlists can also be combined into one large playlist or separated into smaller playlists before being transferred to a service.
If you just need to transfer over playlists and you only have a couple, it may be worth sticking with the free version. We’re using the $4.50 one-month subscription to Soundiiz.
Taking Your Music With You
Because music streaming services have managed to make music as social as they have, there’s lots of data points that can be searched, compiled, and transferred between two or more services. If you’ve ever shared a playlist with a friend, you already have the basic idea of how this works.
There are plenty of third-party services that are able to read this data and transfer it from one streaming service to another. After trying very nearly all of them, we think that Soundiiz combines a decent price point that starts with free, amping up features for paid.
If you’re looking to do the majority of the work in just a few minutes, and especially if you’ve got collections across multiple streaming services, Soundiiz might be the one for you. It can transfer collections between services such as Apple Music, Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, YouTube and YouTube music, SoundCloud, Google Music, Pandora, Slacker, Last.fm, and more.
