Apple Music Replay Reveals Your Most
Were at the end of the year, which means a swarm of personalized year in review lists from the apps and platforms you use the most. One of the first up is the Apple Music streaming service. But Apple is a bit of an outlier here as the Apple Music recap feature, called Replay 21, is actually available all year round and updated weekly.
Still, the best time to check out your personalized Apple Music Replay list is the final month of the year when its fully populated by almost a years worth of the songs and albums youve listened to the most. Heres how to quickly access your 2021 Apple Music Replay list from any computer in the world.
One cool feature of the Replay 2021 list is that it also shows you how many hours of music youve listened to during the year. Additionally, the Replay 2021 list lists songs in descending order from most-played to least-played, and next to each song youll find the exact number of times you played the song.
Finally, in the lower lefthand corner of the Apple Music web player, youll see a button called Open in Music. Click/tap it to open your Replay 21 list in the Music app on your iPhone or Mac.

Like Spotify Wrapped, Apple Music Replay 2020 launched properly on December 2nd after the Replay 2020 playlists were made available earlier in the year.
The annual feature gives fans the ability to see their most-listened-to songs, albums and artists of that past year as well as seeing how much time theyve spent playing music on the app.
The Replay feature was launched in November 2019 to combat Spotify and its long-running Wrapped feature.

Yes Apple Music Has A Yearly Recap
Yesterday Apple began rolling out this years Apple Music Replay playlist at the bottom of everyones Listen Now Page. It features your 100 most listened to songs of the year and, as always, its fascinating to get that kind of insight into your moods and habits.
My top is made up of the new album from my favourite band that came out this year, songs that I like playing the drums to, and a variety of anguished and angry songs that perfectly summed up the general 2020 mood.
Technically the Replay playlist has existed since February and has been updated every week since then but its only now that its being featured. Its also really only helpful at the end of the year.
In that same Replay row you can also see your playlists going back to at least 2015, if youve been on the service that long.
Its worth having a look and comparing the genres in this years playlist to previous years and seeing how covid-19 has changed your music taste. There was a lot of evidence that people were listening to more mellow music during the lockdown. Were you? Or were you one of the people who found comfort in rage? Or did you confusingly mix the two?
