How To Discover New Playlists In Apple Music

Head to the Listen Now tab on any platform to see recommendations based on your listening habits. Many of these playlists are automatically generated based on what Apple Music thinks you like, including a Favorites Mix, a New Music Mix, and playlists based on the genres you listen to most.
These playlists will update regularly, as new music becomes available and your listening habits evolve. Also on this page, you’ll find some more generic playlist recommendations, including Artist Spotlight Playlists and a list of new releases relevant to your library.
As detailed in our article on essential Apple Music tips, you can train Apple Music by using the Love and Dislike buttons hidden under the ellipsis menu. If you Love or Dislike a suggested playlist, Apple Music will take this into account and adjust future suggestions based on your feedback.
Another way of finding similar music is to create a radio station based on a particular song. To do this, find the track you would like your playlist to be based on. Then, long-press on the track or tap the ellipsis button and choose Create Station. This will automatically queue up similar music from your library and from the wider Apple Music library, helping you hear songs you love and discover new ones.

Icloud Matching Technology Controversy
The implementation of iCloud Music Library caused significant issues for users. There were reports about music libraries being impacted by issues such as tracks moved to other albums, album art not matching the music, duplicate artists and songs, missing tracks, and synchronization problems.Mashable wrote that “Apple has not yet publicly acknowledged the problem or responded to our request for comment”.
iCloud Music Library has also been reported to delete music from users’ local storage, though this has been disputed by other publications as caused by user error or another application. Additionally, the feature was reported to have replaced uploaded content with a version locked with digital rights management. In July 2016, Apple switched the matching technology to incorporate features identical to iTunes Match, specifically the use of “audio fingerprints” to scan sound data. The new technology also removed DRM from downloaded matched songs.

How To See What Your Friends Are Listening To In Apple Music
Apple occasionally offers updates to iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS as closed developer previews or public betas. While the betas contain new features, they also contain pre-release bugs that can prevent the normal use of your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, or Mac, and are not intended for everyday use on a primary device. That’s why we strongly recommend staying away from developer previews unless you need them for software development, and using the public betas with caution. If you depend on your devices, wait for the final release.
As part of its new social outgrowth in iOS 11, Apple Music lets you see what your friends have been listening to on the service, and they can do the same for you. Get Right Into The Music
Stereo splits tracks into two, for your left and right ears. Apple Music has gone one step further, with parts of the library now supporting Dolby Atmos.
Described as an innovative audio technology, this breaks out of the confines of two channels, so artists and producers can position instruments and performers where they like in the virtual soundscape that surrounds you when you play it back. That way, as you move your head, your ears will line up with different parts of the studio, and the effect would be similar to what youd experience if you were standing in the middle of the band.
Its not supported by every track, as most were recorded before Dolby Atmos was available. Neither is it supported on all hardware. Head tracking requires an iPhone or iPad paired to Apples own AirPods Pro, AirPods Max or third-generation AirPods earbuds.
