Exactly What I Was Looking For
First off, let me just say that the app is great. Its simple and does exactly what you expect it to do.My use case is that I need to record videos of my workouts for my rehabilitation coach who I interact with virtually. Doing this without music in my headphones lead to some dreary workouts, but this app changed all that.I put in my air pods, start my music, and open the app and Im ready to record. The ability to trim the videos afterwards is great as well!Just a couple lines of feedback :1. I would recommend changing the Use Video to something like Save as I was confused at first on what that meant.2. When done with my video and the app goes back to the main screen while trimming my music stops and I have to restart my music and open your app again3. Maybe a quick tutorial when you open the app for the first time especially the trimming feature, as I butchered a workout video understanding the mechanic.Overall this is a GREAT app and a game changer for those of us with an iPhone and wish to record our workouts whether it be for a coach or yourself to perfect your form!

Flesh Out Songs In Music Memos
Apples Music Memos app for iPhone/iPad can be an excellent sketchpad for building the bones of a song idea. And, if youre just looking for a fast way to flesh out instrumentation for personal and collaborative use, this app is super low impact, since youve already got everything you need in your back pocket.
Heres how it works. Lets say youve got a piano-and-vocal verse and you want to hear how itll sound with drums and bass. Results can be pretty hit-or-miss in our experience, but you do have the option to go in after the recording and tell Music Memos where bar lines begin and to manually finesse chords and time signatures. Bear in mind that this app caters to live demos only, as there are no multitrack-recording, integrated-editing, or post-processing features inside. For that, youre going to need some additional tools.
Is There A Way To Take Videos On Ios With Music Playing
I came over a bug last month that enabled me to legitimately record a video on my iPhone’s camera app without having to pause the music that was playing. But I shut my phone off and back on and it stopped working, I wish someone knew how to trigger this again or inform me if it was patched by apple in a recent update, but yea, that’s basically it.
- Why? What’s the point? The sound will be crap anyway so why not just add the music after instead
You can’t currently record a video while playing music using the native app.
Good news is that you can use 3rd party apps to do it instead, here is an example.
I use the iPhone app Mideo: Record and Listen and it doesn’t pause my music when I record video. Disclaimer: I helped develop this app.
