Between iOS 11 and iOS 12, the feature stayed the same, but with the release of iOS 13, this has changed yet again. This is in part to the redesigned Now Playing screen that now graces the Music app.

How Do You Turn Off Shuffle On Itunes
As a tech veteran, especially in Apple related issues, I was frequently asked questions on digital issues covering iTunes eBook, music, movie, and others. Recently, I have received quite a few emails and messages on how to turn off shuffle on iTunes, just like below:
How to turn off shuffle in iTunes 12.x? I am presently looking at a view of iTunes where I can see at least FIVE different kinds of “shuffle” icon, and yet none of them do what I expect them to do. Clicking on icons #1, 4 or 5 seem to just advance to the next song, but keep the shuffle turned on. #3 is like a jump into hyperspace, taking me to a random song elsewhere in my library. When I click on #2, it gets a highlight and clicking on it again gives me a little “1” next to it. This one, I can guess, means repeat the current song. I’ve been randomly clicking on these five different icons and none of them seem to cancel the shuffle entirely. A little help here!
Therefore, in this guide, I would like to make a summary on how to turn off iTunes shuffle on Mac and Windows computers. Of course, its quite easy to turn off shuffle on your iOS devices , which is why we wont discuss this here.

If youre someone who likes to fine-tune their listening experience, youll enjoy Spotifys inclusion of a graphical equalizer, allowing you to tailor the sound of your music to your tastes. The app also includes several EQ presets for you to choose from, if you so desire. Android-owning Spotify users will be bumped into their phones system audio settings to EQ the sound, which may impact audio in other apps.
On the other hand, Apple Music doesnt really offer any extensive EQ functionality. In fact, all you get are a list of EQ presets to choose from, which are only available to iOS users via the Settings app.

It Has Its Own Digital Assistant
Apple Music is thoroughly baked into the companys ecosystem. While that means tighter integration with Apples various operating system , it also means that Apple Music has its own digital assistant: Siri.
That means if you ask Siri to play the number-one hit in February 1993, the digital assistant will happily I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston. Sure, you can find that tidbit of information through a simple Google search, but Apple Music lets you skip a step. And thats just one example: the bottom line is that youre just a voice command away from playing your favorite tracks. Siri’s built-in “name that song” feature by Shazam is nicely integrated with Apple Music, too.
Apple Music Vs Spotify: Which Is Better
Spotify and Apple Music are similar streaming services, but Spotify has a leg up especially for those who live with their partners.
After comparing these two streaming services, Apple Music is a better option than Spotify Premium simply because it currently offers high-resolution streaming. However, Spotify still has some major advantages like collaborative playlists, better social features, and more. If youre someone who avidly uses Apple devices in their daily life, youll appreciate Apple Musics familiar UI design language, Siri support, and automatic synchronization across Apple devices.
On the other hand, Spotify has always been designed with cross-compatibility in mind. If youre looking to step out of Apples ecosystem when streaming music, Spotify is sure to satisfy listeners with its vast collection of music and podcasts, and its powerful music recommendation algorithms. However, while you can access Spotify for free, Premium doesnt just get rid of the ads. The free version of Spotify doesnt let you save music locally, which can tax mobile data plans, and also limits how often you can skip songs while using the mobile app . Still, its a great option if you want to save money and mainly listen to music on your computer.

Why You Might Want To
Killing Connect really cleans up the interface. In the Music app on iOS, the Connect tab is replaced by a Playlists tab, which improves navigation. You also stop seeing FOLLOW buttons on every artist page, which is nice.
Hiding the Connect tab gives Playlists their own tab, so the My Music tab isnt divided into two views .
Plus, you wont be missing much. Connect just isnt that good, at least not yet. Apple Music automatically adds to Connect every artist in your My Music library, whether theyre actually actively using Connect or not. And guess whata lot of them arent. On the first day, I was auto-following a few dozen artists and bands, but only eight of them currently have content in my Connect feed, and whats here so far is very underwhelming. For example, Snoop Dogg wants me to listen to his new album, so he linked to his album. Wow, thanks, Snoop.
Artist pages wont beg you to FOLLOW anymore either.
Pearl Jam shared the trailer for their Pearl Jam: Twenty documentarywhich came out in 2011. They dont mention where I can see it, if I havent already. There isnt even a link to buy it on iTunes.
