Debussy’s ‘clair De Lune’ Initially Called ‘suite Bergamasque’
Clair de Lune, originally titled “Suite bergamasque”, is a piece of music composed by Claude Debussy. The music was first published in 1910 and made its debut on the stage in December of 1912.
